The Six Phases of Credit Repair: Why Most Companies Only Do Phase One
Disputes are the beginning. Capital is the destination.
Most credit repair companies stop once the disputes are filed. But a cleaner report is only the starting line. The goal is access to capital — and that takes a sequence.
The $1M Playbook
- Phase 1 — Fix the Foundation: dispute inaccurate items across all three bureaus
- Phase 2 — Strengthen the Profile: authorized users, rent reporting, higher limits, business entity
- Phase 3 — Non-Doc Funding: 0% APR business cards, up to $250K potential
- Phase 4 — Revenue-Based Funding: around 20% of revenue, up to $300K potential
- Phase 5 — Corporate Credit: around 33% of gross revenue, up to $495K potential
- Phase 6 — SBA Lending: 3–4× net income, up to $1M+ potential
Why the order matters
Each phase produces what the next one requires. SBA lenders want a 680+ score (Phases 1–2), business history (Phases 3–5) and documented revenue. Skipping ahead just produces declines.
All funding figures are potential outcomes; individual results vary based on your credit profile, income documentation and lender decisions.
